Event summary
The Border Triathlon Squad's Triathlon Rutherglen on 28 February 2026 is one of the very few 'reverse' triathlons on the calendar.
The adult courses are in a run + bike + swim order with a short and long course option to choose from.
There are also Kids' triathlons for those aged 7 - 12yrs in a normal swim + bike + run format.
The run leg takes place around the Rutherglen Park and Recreation Reserve. The bike is a road-based course and the swim at the Rutherglen pool.
This event also doubles as the Victorian Regional Series #9.
